With a background in culinary arts and nutrition, she has dedicated her career to promoting high-quality, seasonal, and sustainable food.

She is an active voice in food debates, contributing to newspapers, radio, and TV, and has been involved in organizations like Slow Food and various culinary competitions. As an author, speaker, and food guide, Katrine shares her knowledge through books, lectures, and guided food tours.

She has a deep appreciation for traditional and modern Danish gastronomy and a particular passion for Japanese cuisine.

For ten years, she was a key figure in the Slow Food movement, advocating for good, clean, and fair food.

As a beekeeper, she has a special interest in honey and bee products and even founded Denmark’s first specialty honey shop.
